Rutba Partners

Partner programme

Sell Rutba where you already have the relationships

We build the software; we would rather you sold it in your market. Rutba is appointing referral partners, resellers, implementation partners and country distributors — twelve territories, four tracks, and nothing to pay to join.

Two stages: eight fields now, and we email you the application.

Why partner with us

A portfolio worth carrying

Plenty of vendors will hand you a brochure. What makes a territory profitable is a product that is genuinely finished, a margin you can build a business on, and someone who picks up the phone when a deal is on the line.

01

Software that already runs

You are not selling a roadmap. The Business Suite and the Workspace line are built, deployed and in use — several of them by us, to run this business. You can demo them the week you are appointed.

02

Land small, expand for years

The suite is many products on one shared backend and one customer record. Your customer buys the one thing they need this quarter; everything after that slots in without a migration — and each one is your renewal.

03

The customer stays yours

On the reseller, implementation and distributor tracks you hold the contract, the invoice and the relationship. Deals are registered and territories protected, so you are never bidding against the vendor you represent.

04

Engineers behind you, not a queue

Presales questions go to the people who wrote the code. We join your calls, size the work with you, and answer the awkward technical question before it costs you the deal.

05

Recurring, not one-and-done

Licences renew, seats grow and services follow the software. A partner who signs ten accounts in year one starts year two with those ten still paying.

06

Deploy where the data has to live

Our cloud, your cloud, or your customer’s own hardware. Data-residency rules that rule other vendors out of a tender are usually a reason we win one.

Four ways to work with us

Pick the track that matches your business

Start on the lightest one and move up when it suits you — plenty of partners begin by referring a single deal and end up holding a territory.

Referral partner

You spot the opportunity and make the introduction; we run the sales cycle, deliver and support. The natural first step for consultants, accountants and agencies whose clients keep asking the same question.

You do
Introduce and qualify the opportunity
We do
Sell, contract, deliver and support
You earn
A referral fee on invoiced revenue from every deal that closes
Commitment
None

Reseller

You buy at partner pricing and sell at your own. You own the quote, the invoice, the renewal and the customer relationship; we license the software and stand behind it with second-line support.

You do
Sell, quote, invoice and own the customer
We do
License the software and provide second-line support
You earn
A discount off list — you set your own price and keep the difference
Commitment
An agreed annual target

Implementation partner

You handle configuration, data migration, integration and training — and keep every penny of that services revenue — on top of partner pricing for the licences.

You do
Sell, then configure, migrate, integrate and train
We do
License the software and back you technically
You earn
Partner pricing on licences, plus all of your own services revenue
Commitment
At least two certified people on your team

Country distributor

An exclusive territory, distributor pricing, the right to appoint and support sub-partners beneath you, local billing in local currency and first-line support in local language. The most demanding track and the most rewarding.

You do
Run the territory, appoint sub-partners, bill and support locally
We do
License, engineer, escalate and protect the territory
You earn
Distributor pricing, plus margin on every sub-partner beneath you
Commitment
A territory plan and an agreed target

What you would sell

One backend, many things to lead with

Every line below shares one customer record and one product catalogue, so the second sale into an account needs no migration and no integration project.

LineWhat it doesWho buys it
CRM & salesPipeline, quotes, leads and helpdesk on one customer record.Anybody with a sales team and a spreadsheet they have outgrown.
Inventory & warehousingStock across locations, movements, counts and replenishment.Distribution, wholesale, multi-branch retail.
Accounting & financeLedger, AP/AR, invoicing and reporting, tied to the same customers and products.Finance teams tired of re-keying between two systems.
Point of sale & retailTills, offline-tolerant, feeding the same stock and the same books.Retail chains and hospitality.
HR & payrollPeople records, employee self-service, leave and payroll.Any employer above about twenty people.
Business emailMail at the customer’s own domain, with the MTA and the mailbox both ours.Everyone — and the easiest first sale in the portfolio.
Files, chat, meetings and callsDrive, chat, video and telephony, each logging back to the business record it concerns.Customers consolidating four subscriptions into one.
Documents & spreadsheetsA real editor, in the browser, on the customer’s own tenancy.Organisations with data-residency rules that rule out the usual answer.
Implementation & servicesConfiguration, migration, integration and training — delivered by you, billed by you.Every customer above the smallest, which is why the services track exists.

The full catalogue, with list pricing, is on rutba.io. Your partner pricing is agreed in your appointment, not published here.

Where we are appointing

Twelve territories, and a thirteenth if you make the case

Exclusivity is by territory and by line, agreed against a target rather than granted on day one. Wherever you are, deal registration protects your pipeline from your first opportunity onward.

What we provide

What you get on day one

A sandbox tenant of your own

Not a shared demo account. Your own instance with your own data, so a demo is your demo and a proof of concept survives to become the customer’s live system.

Enablement that is free and remote

Product training, certification and technical onboarding for as many of your people as you want to put through it. There is no charge and no travel.

Deal registration from day one

Register an opportunity and it is yours for the cycle, exclusive territory or not. You will be told which accounts are already ours before you sign, not after.

Presales you can call

The engineers who wrote it join your calls, scope with you, and answer the question that would otherwise cost you the deal.

Marketing you can actually use

Decks, one-pagers, comparison material and case studies — rebrandable on the distributor track, and written to be edited rather than admired.

A voice in the roadmap

Language, currency, tax and compliance requests from partners with live pipeline carry real weight in what gets built next.

Commercial framework

How the money works

Who does what, and how you are paid for it. The numbers themselves belong in your agreement rather than on a web page — see the note below.

Why there are no percentages on this page. A margin that works in one market is unsellable in another — local pricing, taxes, competition and cost of sale all differ. We would rather agree a number that lets you build a real business in your territory than publish one figure and defend it everywhere. Tell us your market and the lines you want, and you will have concrete numbers before the second call.

The right fit

Who we appoint

We are not chasing a long list of logos. A handful of partners who genuinely sell is worth more than fifty who signed an agreement and went quiet.

  • An established business selling B2B software or IT services in your market
  • A team that can run a first demo and a first conversation without us on the call
  • Existing relationships in at least one sector we serve
  • The ability to invoice, contract and support in local language and currency
  • Reference customers you can point to
  • A named person who owns the partnership on your side

What you do not need

  • A large team, or deep expertise in our stack before you start
  • A commitment to exclusivity before you have sold anything
  • A joining fee, minimum order, or stock to carry — you carry software
  • The whole portfolio: most partners lead with one line they already have buyers for

From first contact to first deal

How becoming a partner works

Typically a few weeks end to end. No lengthy vetting programme, no joining fee, and no account to create.

01

Register your interest

Eight fields and two minutes. We reply by email with a link to the application proper — no account, no password.

02

Apply

The application asks about your market, your team and your finances. Fifteen minutes, and it saves as you go so you can leave it and come back.

03

Talk it through

Thirty minutes, both directions. What you sell today, what we have already sold in your region, and whether the fit is real.

04

Agreement, then your first deal

Track, territory, lines, margin, targets and support — in writing, agreed before you start. We stay on your first pitches until one closes.

Before you apply

Questions partners ask

Why is the application in two parts?

Because the second part asks for turnover, headcount and a year-one commitment, and nobody should have to answer that for a vendor they have not yet decided about. The first part is eight fields; we email you the rest.

Do I have to take the whole portfolio?

No. Take one line if that is what your market wants. Most partners lead with a single product they already have buyers for and add lines as the relationship proves itself.

Who owns the customer?

On the reseller, implementation and distributor tracks, you do — your contract, your invoice, your renewal. On the referral track we hold the contract and pay you a fee on it.

Do you sell direct in my territory?

We sell direct only until a partner is appointed. Either way you will be told which accounts are already ours before you sign anything, not afterwards.

Is exclusivity available?

Yes, by territory and by line, tied to an agreed target. It is not granted on day one — but deal registration protects your pipeline from your first opportunity onward, exclusive or not.

Why are there no margin percentages on this page?

Because a margin that works in one market is unsellable in another — local pricing, taxes, competition and cost of sale all differ. Tell us your market and the lines you want, and you will have concrete numbers before the second call.

What happens to the financial details I put in the application?

They are held by the partner team and nobody else, and they are used to decide the track and the credit terms. We ask for statements only on the tracks where you hold the customer contract, and only under NDA if you prefer.

Is there a joining fee or a stock commitment?

Neither. Nothing to pay to join, nothing to buy up front and no minimum order — you carry software, not inventory.

My link expired. Now what?

Ask for a new one and it is sent straight away. Nothing you had already filled in is lost — the draft is kept against your application, not against the link.

Can I white-label the products?

On the distributor track, and for specific lines, yes — branding, packaging and OEM arrangements are discussed case by case rather than ruled out.

Stage one

Register your interest

Eight fields, two minutes. If your market is open, the application itself arrives by email within a few minutes — and it is the only other form there is.

Why two stages? Because the application asks about turnover, headcount and what you would commit to sell, and nobody should have to answer that for a vendor they have not decided about yet.

Already registered? Ask for your application link again — anything you had already filled in is kept.

Would rather just talk? hello@rutba.io

This is where the application link goes, so use one you read.

Not binding. Plenty of partners start on one and move up.

Lines you would lead with(optional)

Nobody takes the whole portfolio. Pick what your market is already asking you for.

What you sell today, roughly how big the team is, or the deal you already have in mind.

We reply by email with a link to the full application. No account, no password, and nothing else to fill in today.

Not sure which track fits?

Register interest and say so in the last box. The application suggests a track from your own answers, and the conversation that follows is about which one earns you the most in your market.
