Investors and strategic partners
A short, factual page — and a person at the end of it.
No projections, no traction slide, no valuation. Those belong in a document with a date on it, shared with someone who has told us who they are. What is here is what the company is, what has actually been built, and how to start the conversation.

This page is information, not an offer. Nothing here is an offer or invitation to buy or subscribe for securities, an inducement to engage in investment activity, or advice of any kind. It has not been approved by an authorised person. Any actual discussion happens directly, under a non-disclosure agreement, and on documents rather than on a web page.
What Rutba is
Business software sold as a subscription: a suite that runs the business — CRM, stock, orders, production, people and the books — a workspace line that runs the day — mail, files, documents, chat, meetings and calls — and platform services underneath both that are also sold on their own. Twenty-three products, sharing one set of records, one identity and one invoice.
The company is British. The product is global rather than aimed at one market, and it is sold direct and through the partner programme this site describes.
What has actually been built
The most useful thing this page can do is point at working software rather than describe it, so:
Live demonstration systems
Real instances seeded as real trades, open without an account. The fastest way to establish that this is a product rather than a deck.
Availability published product by product
Every product carries a label — available, early access, or not yet sold — and the site says which half of a part-built product runs. That is unusual and it is deliberate.
The security and compliance position, stated plainly
Including a table whose “independently certified” column is currently empty. A company that will tell you what it has not done is one you can believe about what it has.
How we compare, written to a standard
Comparison pages against Odoo, Zoho One, NetSuite, Business Central and the rest — every one of which names where the competitor is better.
What ships, dated
A public changelog rather than a release log behind a login.
How the business is put together
Structural facts rather than performance claims — the things that are true today and do not change with a quarter.
- Subscription revenue, per product
- Business applications priced per user per month; platform services priced by usage. One organization, one invoice, however many products.
- Land small, expand without a migration
- Products share one backend and one customer record, so adding one is a subscription change rather than a project. Expansion revenue does not require a new sale of the same kind as the first.
- Two routes to market
- Direct through rutba.io with self-serve provisioning, and indirect through referral, reseller, implementation and distributor partners.
- Platform services sell standalone
- Sending, storage, publishing, creative tooling and on-premise video are products in their own right, not features. They are a separate way in for customers who will never buy a suite.
- Deployment flexibility as a commercial asset
- Our cloud, a customer’s cloud, or their own hardware depending on the product. Data-residency requirements that disqualify other vendors are frequently why we are in a tender.
- Built rather than assembled
- The mail transfer agent, the media file server, the identity layer and the databases are ours and run by us. That is a cost structure decision as much as a technical one.
Where we are, said plainly
Early. Some products are generally available, some are in early access with hands-on onboarding, and some are specified and not yet sold — and the site says which is which on every page rather than in a footnote. There is no customer case study on rutba.io because there is no customer whose result we can publish yet, and inventing one would contradict the availability labels that the whole site is built around.
We would rather you learned that here than found it out in diligence. The same honesty is why the trust centre publishes an empty certification column and why the comparison pages name where competitors beat us.
Strategic partners
Not every conversation here is about capital.
The other conversations worth having: a vendor whose product should run on top of the platform services, a company with distribution in a market we cannot reach alone, an acquirer of a business whose customers need somewhere to go, or an organisation that wants the software deployed on its own infrastructure at a scale the standard terms do not cover.
If you are a reseller or a distributor rather than an investor, the partner programme is the faster door — it has an application behind it and a process that runs in days.
Start the conversation directly.
Write to hello@rutba.io with who you are and what you are interested in. It reaches a person rather than a form, and we will tell you what we can share and under what terms.
